I will be available to work with one or more new families on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, beginning in January of 2024. Care would be offered in either a single 4 hour block (8 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 5pm, with preference for filling morning positions first) or an 8 hour block (8 am to 4 pm) for families between Santa Clara and Menlo Park, or in Morgan Hill. If one of the below fits something your family needs, please feel free to reach out to me. Please keep in mind that I do not offer any housekeeping services, school drop-off or pickups, or aftercare (caring for children who are enrolled in a half-day program).

I am including live-in options this year for families who may need longer hours on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, or who may need to start very early on Wednesday or Thursday mornings. For weekly live-in, I would arrive on Tuesday morning to begin the week, and I would need to leave by 4 pm on Thursday afternoon. Live-in option will be offered to families in San Francisco, Belmont, Atherton, Portla Valley, Los Altos, Cupertino and possibly Santa Cruz. No reduced rates, personal assistant or housekeeping services are offered with a weekly live-in option. As always, my entire focus will be on the care, development and education of the children in the home.

Part-time nanny for a single family with one infant or infant twins.

Part-time nanny share for two families with similarly aged infants in a nanny share

Part-time developmentally focused care for a single family with one or two children between 15 month and 3 years.

Part-time developmentally focused care shared between up up to three families with one toddler each.

Morning or afternoon early skills, English and literacy tutoring  for international families with a child 6 and under who does not speak or read English at home (3-4 hrs per day, 1-3x/week)

Small group English and literacy tutoring for up to four preschool aged children who are having difficulty adapting to a larger, English dominant classroom setting, or English speaking children in need of additional structured activities to complement their play-based or child directed preschool program

Tutoring for preschoolers or preschool aged children who will be interviewing for admittance into private kindergartens

Occasional care for families who do not require a nanny to provide services on a consistent basis (holiday care, parent dates)

Backup care for families who have other childcare arrangements, but are in a bind need extra coverage (school closings, family emergencies, etc)

Morning playground dates and activities for a small group of up to 4 WFH families who are willing to share hosting/snack responsibilities (parents and children meet at one families home, I take the children outside for a few hours to play, learn and create, while parents work from the host's home nearby until we all part ways at lunch time)

Supervision for small groups of children at private events, family or social gatherings

Accompaniment on children's excursions (museums, hiking, cultural institutions), with relevant readings, songs and activities before and after

Part-time live-in nanny for a family with an infant, willing to host a nanny share with another family who has an infant close in age (arrive Tuesday morning, leave Thursday afternoon), or for a family in need of two late evenings (TW) and two early mornings (WTh), with infant or toddler singles or twins who are not already enrolled in daycare programs and will be cared for at home.

Part-time live-in governess/private educator for a family with 1-3 children aged 20 months to 4 years, who are not yet in a preschool or daycare program, who will be cared for at home

Sewing lessons for girls aged 4 to 11 years old

Assistance at children's birthday parties

Part-time private aid for preschool aged child in need of classroom support
